Hi, I’m Dahn / Luca. I’ve been working as a professional piercer for about six years. For me, piercing is a passion, not just a job. It’s very important to me to create a space that feels as safe as possible for everyone, especially for queer people. As a non-binary person myself, I bring personal understanding and a lot of sensitivity to my work. Continuous education is just as important to me. For the past five years, I’ve regularly attended BMXnet, one of the most well-known international conferences for piercing and body modification. Last year, I even had the opportunity to host my own workshop there on the topic of “Queer Sensitivity in Body Art.” Beyond that, I stay closely connected with piercers from around the world to keep my knowledge and practice up to date. I usually work with larger gauge jewelry and have a strong appreciation for symmetrical and conceptual piercing projects. I’m also passionate about supporting long-term, full-body projects that help people express and realize themselves. For me, piercing is not only about technique, but also about design and trust, because a piercing can be so much more than just a beautiful piece of jewelry.
